Measure the fit

Set the width of your furniture, then compare the available canvas sizes. The diagram uses the same scale for the canvas and furniture.

Sizes for your current finish

Canvas dimensions only: a frame may add to the outer size. Multi-panel previews show equal canvases side by side with your chosen gap. Neutral rectangles show scale, not the artwork. Measure your wall before ordering.

Finish

Rolled canvas requires stretching or framing. Frameless is stretched without an outer frame. Framed options include the selected outer frame.

Two horses meet in a close, frontal composition—one deep charcoal, one pale cream—rendered with vigorous palette-knife texture and layered, tactile strokes.

Artwork and making

Atelier Editions are individually painted works, not printed reproductions. Natural variation in brushwork and surface is part of the making. Materials vary by artwork and selected presentation. The canvas support and decorative outer frame are separate components. Frame color or a wood-look finish does not, by itself, identify the frame material. Contact the studio before ordering to confirm the outer-frame material for a particular size and finish.

Production and delivery

Painting and studio preparation usually take 7–10 calendar days, followed by 7–10 calendar days in transit: approximately 14–20 calendar days after order details are confirmed, excluding time for customer approval or agreed adjustments. Larger, framed or custom works and remote destinations may take longer. Review photos or video of your finished made-to-order painting before dispatch. Free tracked, insured delivery is available to supported destinations; remote areas are quoted first. Import duties are included for all U.S. deliveries. Any applicable sales tax collected by VALLORNE is shown at checkout before payment. See the Shipping Policy for full details.

Returns and custom work

Eligible standard, non-personalized works may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Custom and personalized works are not returnable for preference change.

Artwork care

Display away from persistent direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Dust lightly with a clean, dry, soft brush. Do not use household cleaners on the painted surface.

Hand-painted in oils, with layered color and individual brushwork. Your painting is previewed before dispatch; small variations are part of an individually painted work.

Rolled canvas requires local stretching or framing. Stretched canvas is mounted on an internal stretcher without an outer frame. A slim floating frame adds a fine edge and a subtle shadow gap.

Packaging illustrations show possible protective arrangements. Materials, supports and packing vary by size and finish. Delivery is tracked and insured; U.S. import duties are included. See our shipping policy for destination details.

Across the sofa, the ears rise sharply, the faces angle inward, and the touching muzzles bring that motion to a gentle stop.

Seen from the half-swiveled chair, the horses bring a hushed, companionable pause to the mail-covered landing without making the passage feel precious.

Up from the stairs, the large square has real presence over the shoe cabinet, yet the surrounding olive wall keeps the entry comfortably everyday.

Seen from the bed, the limited space between the horses feels intimate, while the olive wall supplies the breathing room missing inside the image.

I especially like how the pair sits slightly apart from the cube shelf; the off-center view feels personal, relaxed, and unstyled.

Through the pale guest room, the black and ivory horses stay distinct, while teal and faded yellow prevent the setting from feeling overly neutral.

My eye follows the two lowered foreheads toward their almost-touching muzzles; that inward movement feels calm, deliberate, and quietly alive above the supper table.

This dining-room pairing really works for me—the bold horses add energy while the weathered table and simple chairs keep the scene relaxed.

On the quiet landing, cloudy light and the horses’ lowered faces create a reassuring pause amid stairs, books, and everyday clutter.

Low beside the sofa, the square artwork balances the swollen foreground arm with two broad opposing horse shapes and narrow surrounding wall space.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

The square canvas balances the tall closet opening and filing cabinet, while the joined heads create one strong shape inside that narrow wall bay.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Warm lamplight softens the dramatic contrast, making the painting feel right at home beside the cozy chair, layered textiles, and trailing plant.

The black-and-white horses give this quiet bedroom a grounded focal point, while the warm wood and soft neutrals keep everything serene.

At this oblique angle, layered knife-like marks catch uneven light, making the manes and faces appear built from overlapping planes.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Broken blind shadows make the ridged-looking strokes seem to shift across both faces, especially where grey scrapes interrupt the black horse.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Morning light brings out the creamy tones beautifully, and the generous scale feels balanced above the wide dresser rather than overwhelming.

Against the faded blue wall, warm wood and coral details soften the horses’ cool greys and creamy whites without weakening their contrast.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

What catches me is the breathing room around this smaller canvas; cool blue-grey wall makes the tightly paired heads feel even closer.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

I like how the piece turns a narrow entry into a meaningful moment. The close-set horses suggest calm companionship and quiet strength.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Against the olive sofa and glowing lamps, the artwork feels dramatic but still inviting. I especially like the contrast with all the greenery.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Under rainy daylight, I especially like the small rust-colored muzzle accents; they add just enough warmth to the otherwise restrained composition.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Blue-grey daylight along the bedding cools the ivory horse, while the bedside and kitchen bulbs pull gentle warmth from both muzzles.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

The composition gives this workspace personality without feeling distracting. Its charcoal, ivory, and muted beige palette fits naturally with the wood desk.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

From the hall, the black horse forms a bold silhouette, while the pale companion keeps that strong shape from feeling severe.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Against the dull green sofa cover and mixed woods, the charcoal horse lands firmly, while the cream horse keeps the dim corner from feeling heavy.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Beside the armchair, the large paired heads give this narrow wall surprising presence without overwhelming the books, lamp, or passageway.

Twin Resolve

Customer photo review of Twin Resolve

Even from the doorway, the black horse forms a bold, readable shape, while the pale companion stays distinct against the softly grey wall.

Twin Resolve

Nearly square proportions suit compact wall bays especially well, creating a stable visual block between doorways, corners, furniture, or stair rails.

Twin Resolve

What stands out is the tenderness between two powerful figures. The neutral background lets that relationship remain the clear emotional center.

Twin Resolve

Across a room, the dark-left, light-right split reads first, then the two lowered heads resolve into a single gesture of closeness.

Twin Resolve

There’s tension in the near-touching muzzles, but nothing theatrical; the lowered eyes and restrained rust notes keep the feeling tender and steady.

Twin Resolve

The close composition has a reassuring stillness. I would pair its restrained palette with warm woods, linen textures, and understated earthy accents.

Twin Resolve

There’s restrained drama in the near-touching faces: deep blacks carry the weight, pale strokes offer tenderness, and neither horse dominates.

Twin Resolve

Viewed from farther back, the dark horse reads first, then the pale head emerges, with their joined muzzles remaining the clearest emotional detail.

Twin Resolve

Twin Resolve appeals to me because the opposing light and dark forms feel balanced, connected, and quietly expressive without becoming overly sentimental.

Twin Resolve

Its square proportion suits a contained wall section, where nearby trim or an opening can counter the canvas’s dense, frontal pairing.
