Measure the fit

Set the width of your furniture, then compare the available canvas sizes. The diagram uses the same scale for the canvas and furniture.

Sizes for your current finish

Canvas dimensions only: a frame may add to the outer size. Multi-panel previews show equal canvases side by side with your chosen gap. Neutral rectangles show scale, not the artwork. Measure your wall before ordering.

Finish

Rolled canvas requires stretching or framing. Frameless is stretched without an outer frame. Framed options include the selected outer frame.

A winding pale waterway moves through charcoal-gray marsh grasses beneath a quiet cream sky. Layered brushwork and raised texture give the atmospheric landscape a tactile, weathered presence.

Artwork and making

Atelier Editions are individually painted works, not printed reproductions. Natural variation in brushwork and surface is part of the making. Materials vary by artwork and selected presentation. The canvas support and decorative outer frame are separate components. Frame color or a wood-look finish does not, by itself, identify the frame material. Contact the studio before ordering to confirm the outer-frame material for a particular size and finish.

Production and delivery

Painting and studio preparation usually take 7–10 calendar days, followed by 7–10 calendar days in transit: approximately 14–20 calendar days after order details are confirmed, excluding time for customer approval or agreed adjustments. Larger, framed or custom works and remote destinations may take longer. Review photos or video of your finished made-to-order painting before dispatch. Free tracked, insured delivery is available to supported destinations; remote areas are quoted first. Import duties are included for all U.S. deliveries. Any applicable sales tax collected by VALLORNE is shown at checkout before payment. See the Shipping Policy for full details.

Returns and custom work

Eligible standard, non-personalized works may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Custom and personalized works are not returnable for preference change.

Artwork care

Display away from persistent direct sunlight, moisture and heat. Dust lightly with a clean, dry, soft brush. Do not use household cleaners on the painted surface.

Hand-painted in oils, with layered color and individual brushwork. Your painting is previewed before dispatch; small variations are part of an individually painted work.

Rolled canvas requires local stretching or framing. Stretched canvas is mounted on an internal stretcher without an outer frame. A slim floating frame adds a fine edge and a subtle shadow gap.

Packaging illustrations show possible protective arrangements. Materials, supports and packing vary by size and finish. Delivery is tracked and insured; U.S. import duties are included. See our shipping policy for destination details.

Customer photo review of Marshward Drift

From the landing, the broken, raised-looking strokes make the water and banks appear tactile, while the softer sky settles the busy surface.

All that pale sky and distant horizon create breathing room on the tight landing, especially against the rail, bright window, and dark sofa edge.

Against the worn green cabinets, the ivory water stays crisp and the blue-grey reeds look cooler; that red towel adds a welcome, unrelated jolt.

Personally, I like how the channel bends off-center instead of heading straight back; the slight visual detour feels quieter and less predictable.

Between the opening and entry hooks, the tall rectangle suits that narrow wall section, holding its own without crowding the bench or door trim.

Beside the closet and dresser, the generous vertical rectangle suits the bedroom wall height, giving the narrow architectural bay a clear purpose.

With the desk lamp glowing beyond the doorway, the marsh makes this work nook feel quieter and less boxed in after a long evening.

Against the pale office wall, blue-grey banks stay distinct without turning cold; the green cabinetry and worn orange accessory add useful counterpoints.

On this narrow wall, the tall format gives the little dining nook unexpected depth, while the broad sky keeps the passageway from feeling crowded.

At this confident size, the pale channel opens up the slim bedside wall, while the closet trim keeps the portrait grounded in a real spare room.

Marshward Drift

Customer photo review of Marshward Drift

My eye goes straight to the pale channel, then outward to the darker banks and finally the everyday clutter gathered around the console.

Across the room, the dark frame and broad ivory sky form the clearest graphic anchor; the chair and lamp settle into a softer second layer.

Seen down the stairs with the bright kitchen beyond, the small landscape adds a hushed, reflective beat to an otherwise practical transition space.

First, the bright winding water catches attention; then the laundry basket, olive bed, and oak dresser bring the view back to everyday life.

Across the entry, that bright winding ribbon against the near-black banks forms the clearest graphic shape, even beside coats and packages.

Under the lamp, the raised-looking strokes suggest broken ice and weathered reeds, giving the quiet scene a tactile presence without appearing glossy.

What opens up this crowded reading corner is the enormous quiet sky; it creates a welcome pause between the chair, shelves, and doorway.

From the chair-side angle, the watercourse sweeps upward while the table edge pushes across it, creating gentle movement inside an otherwise settled dining corner.

Marshward Drift

Customer photo review of Marshward Drift

Starting near the reeds, the channel sweeps right, doubles left, then thins toward the horizon—a slow rhythm that carries through the angled view.

Marshward Drift

Customer photo review of Marshward Drift

Personally, the off-angle view and oversized console appeal to me; the slight imbalance feels lived-in, and the red game case keeps things casual.

Marshward Drift

What balances the composition is the large ivory sweep between dense reed masses, with the low horizon preventing the open sky from feeling empty.

Marshward Drift

Even from several steps away, the pale S-curve remains legible first, with the low horizon and dark banks supplying simple directional structure.

Marshward Drift

Even several steps back, the luminous S-curve remains unmistakable, carrying the eye through the darker marsh bands toward that nearly vanished horizon.

Marshward Drift

A broad ivory sky balances the heavy lower reeds, while opposing dark banks contain the open water without making the center feel rigid.

Professional painting atelier with easels, brushes, pigments and works in progress
Inside the VALLORNE atelier · editorial studio study

Open Land Atelier works from the memory of terrain rather than a literal view. Horizons, weather and distant structures are reduced until atmosphere carries the composition.

Inside the practice

Raised between the Tuscan hills and the Mediterranean coast, Elena Marchetti paints landscape as atmosphere rather than record. Soft layers and long horizons give each room air, depth and calm.
